Jose Gonzalez will perform live on the roof prior to the New York premiere of this lovely, lyrical, thoughtful look at the day to day life and creative processes of the singer-songwriter, one of Sweden’s most successful, intelligent, and eccentric musicians. Combining gorgeous live footage from concerts and tours across five continents with animated sequences and audio clips, Mikel Cee Karlsson and Fredrik Egerstrand craft a wry and poetic portrait of an intelligent, secretive and eccentric artist in search of meaning as he records his sophomore album and tours the world.
